15 Minute Lo Mein! Made with just soy sauce, sesame oil, a pinch of sugar, ramen noodles or spaghetti noodles, and any veggies or protein you like. SO YUMMY!
- 8 ounces dried spaghetti
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup frozen vegetables (such as peas, carrots, and corn)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 green onion, sliced (optional)
1. In a large pot of boiling water, cook the spaghetti according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet or wok, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 2-3 minutes.
3. Add the frozen vegetables to the skillet and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until they are slightly softened.
4. In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes (if using).
5. Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet with the vegetables.
6. Pour the sauce over the spaghetti and vegetables. Stir everything together until the spaghetti is evenly coated with the sauce.
7. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the spaghetti is heated through and the sauce has thickened slightly.
8. Taste and season with salt and pepper as needed.
9. Serve the lo mein hot, garnished with sliced green onions if desired. Enjoy your delicious and quick 15 minute lo mein!
