Description

For Christmas one year, I received an air fryer. Potato chips are simple to make in it and are an essential, crispy side for lunch.

Ingredient

- 3 medium-sized potatoes

- Olive oil

- Salt

- Pepper

- Garlic powder

- Paprika

Direction

1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).

 

2. Wash and dry the potatoes. Leave the skin on for added flavor and texture.

 

3. Cut the potatoes into thin slices using a sharp knife or a mandoline slicer. Try to make them as evenly sized as possible to ensure even cooking.

 

4. Place the sliced potatoes in a large bowl and drizzle with olive oil. Use your hands to mix the potatoes and evenly coat them with the oil.

 

5. In a small bowl, mix together the salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika to make a seasoning blend.

 

6. Sprinkle the seasoning mixture over the oiled potatoes and toss to evenly coat.

 

7. Arrange the seasoned potato slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may need to cook them in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.

 

8. Cook the potato chips in the air fryer for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure they cook evenly.

 

9. Once the potato chips are golden and crisp, remove them from the air fryer and place them on a paper towel to absorb any excess oil.

 

10. Serve the chips hot and enjoy as a snack or side dish. You can also sprinkle some extra seasoning or herbs on top for added flavor.
