Give the classic pasta dish a festive twist using silky, melting camembert. It's a wonderfully comforting supper on cold winter nights
- 1 wheel of camembert cheese
- 1 pound of pasta
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- Salt and pepper
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of dried thyme
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
3. While the pasta is cooking, remove the camembert cheese from its packaging and place it in a small oven-safe dish.
4. Drizzle 1 tablespoon of olive oil over the cheese and sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and dried thyme.
5. Bake the camembert in the oven for 10-15 minutes, or until it is soft and gooey.
6. Once the pasta is cooked, drain it and drizzle the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil over it. Toss to coat the pasta evenly.
7. Take the baked camembert out of the oven and pour it over the pasta. Use a spoon to mix the cheese into the pasta, creating a creamy alfredo sauce.
8. Serve the baked camembert pasta alfredo hot, topped with some additional dried thyme for garnish, if desired.
Enjoy your cheesy and flavorful pasta dish!
