Banana Chocolate Chip Breakfast Muffins

Description

A breakfast recipe that uses ripe bananas and chocolate chips to make moist and flavorful muffins that are perfect for a quick breakfast or snack.

Ingredient

- 2 ripe bananas

- 1 cup all-purpose flour

- 1/2 cup sugar

- 1/4 cup olive oil

- 1/4 cup milk

- 1 egg

- 1 tsp baking powder

- 1/2 tsp baking soda

- 1/2 tsp salt

- 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Direction

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a muffin tin with liners or by greasing each cup with olive oil.

 

2. In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.

 

3. Add in the olive oil, milk, and egg to the mashed bananas and mix until well combined.

 

4. In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

 

5. Slowly add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.

 

6. Gently fold in the chocolate chips to the batter.

 

7. Fill each muffin cup about 3/4 of the way full with the batter.

 

8. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.

 

9. Let the muffins cool for 5 minutes before removing them from the tin.
