Serve this moreish cheesy dip with tortilla chips, hunks of bread and crudités. It's perfect for a Christmas buffet or party
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped pepperoni
- 1/4 cup chopped bell peppers
- 1/4 cup chopped onions
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and black pepper to taste
1. In a small pot or saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat.
2. Add chopped pepperoni, bell peppers, and onions to the pot and sauté for 2-3 minutes, until softened.
3. Reduce heat to low and add pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and dried oregano to the pot. Stir to combine all ingredients.
4. Let the mixture simmer for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cheese is fully melted and the dip is hot.
5. Taste and season with salt and black pepper to your liking.
6. Transfer the pizza fondue dip to a serving bowl and garnish with extra shredded cheese and chopped pepperoni, if desired.
