Cinnamon Sugar Butter Bread

Description

Nothing sounds better than cinnamon sugar butter bread fresh in the morning, TBH.

Ingredient

- 4 slices of bread

- 2 tablespoons of butter

- 2 teaspoons of cinnamon

- 2 teaspoons of sugar

- Olive oil (for greasing the pan)

Direction

1. In a small bowl, mix together the cinnamon and sugar until well combined.

 

2. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add a drizzle of olive oil to the pan.

 

3. Butter one side of each bread slice and sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture on the buttered side, making sure to cover the entire surface.

 

4. Place the bread slices in the skillet, buttered side down, and cook for about 2-3 minutes until the bread is golden brown and the sugar has caramelized.

 

5. While the first side is cooking, butter the other side of the bread slices and sprinkle with the remaining cinnamon sugar mixture.

 

6. Flip the bread slices over and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the other side is golden brown and crispy.

 

7. Once both sides are evenly cooked, remove from the skillet and let cool for a few minutes before serving.

 

8. Optional: You can also sprinkle some additional cinnamon sugar on top of the bread slices before serving for an extra burst of flavor.
