Description

Try our vegetarian pasta bake for a super fast veggie dish that's on the table in 20 minutes. Penne and broccoli are baked until golden in a quick creamy sauce

Ingredient

- 1 lb dry pasta (any shape)

- 1 head of broccoli, chopped

- 2 cloves of garlic, minced

- 1 onion, chopped

- Olive oil

- Salt and pepper

- Italian seasoning

- 1 cup of shredded cheese (any kind)

Direction

Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until it is al dente. Drain and set aside.

3. In a large pan, heat some olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and chopped onion and cook until they become fragrant and the onion is translucent.

4. Add the chopped broccoli to the pan and cook for 5-7 minutes until it becomes tender.

5. Season the broccoli with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning to taste.

6. In a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spread a layer of the cooked pasta.

7. Top the pasta with the cooked broccoli and onion mixture.

8. Sprinkle a layer of shredded cheese over the top of the broccoli.

9. Continue layering the pasta, broccoli, and cheese until all the ingredients are used up. Make sure the top layer is cheese.

10. Drizzle some olive oil over the top of the dish for added flavor and moisture.

11. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.

12. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

13. Let the dish cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your delicious crusty pasta and broccoli bake!
