Dill-Tahini Dip

recipe Detail

Description

This lightly seasoned dip is complex from tahini, soy sauce, and harissa, and creamy from yogurt. Serve it as a snack with vegetables or with kebobs; as a marinade for grilled meats; or as a spread for wraps and sandwiches.

Ingredient

- 1/2 cup tahini

- 1/4 cup water

- 2 tablespoons olive oil

- 2 tablespoons lemon juice

- 1 teaspoon garlic powder

- 1 teaspoon onion powder

- 1 teaspoon dried dill

- Salt and pepper to taste

Direction

1. In a small mixing bowl, combine 1/2 cup of tahini with 1/4 cup of water and mix well until smooth.

2. Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil and 2 tablespoons of lemon juice to the tahini mixture and stir until fully combined.

3. Next, add 1 teaspoon each of garlic powder, onion powder, and dried dill to the mixture. Stir well to incorporate the spices into the dip.

4. Taste the dip and add salt and pepper to your liking. Mix well.

5. If the dip is too thick, you can add a little more water to thin it out.

6. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and drizzle with a little bit of olive oil on top for presentation.

7. Serve the dill-tahini dip with your favorite vegetables, pita bread, or crackers. Enjoy!
