Ingredient

- 1 box of manicotti pasta

- 1 pound of Italian sausage

- 1 cup of ricotta cheese

- 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese

- 1 cup of marinara sauce

- 1 tablespoon olive oil

- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

- Salt and pepper to taste

Direction

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with olive oil.

2. In a pot of boiling water, cook the manicotti pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

3. In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the Italian sausage and break it up into small pieces with a wooden spoon. Cook until browned and fully cooked, about 8-10 minutes.

4. In a small bowl, mix together the ricotta cheese, 1/2 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

5. Stuff the cooked manicotti shells with the ricotta cheese mixture.

6. Spread half of the marinara sauce on the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Place the stuffed manicotti shells on top of the sauce.

7. Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the stuffed shells. Sprinkle the rest of the shredded mozzarella cheese on top.

8. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Then, remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

9. Let the dish cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your easy and delicious Sausage Manicotti Bake!
