Flamin’ Hot Cheetos Fried Chicken

recipe Detail

Description

I made this Flamin' Hot Cheetos fried chicken one day, when I thought, I use Flamin’ Hot Cheetos to bread fried pickles and onion rings, so why not fried chicken? They lose a lot of heat during the process, so don't skip the cayenne pepper

Ingredient

- 1 pound chicken breast, cut into strips

- 1 bag of Flamin’ Hot Cheetos

- 1 cup flour

- 2 eggs

- 1 teaspoon garlic powder

- 1 teaspoon onion powder

- 1 teaspoon paprika

- Salt and pepper

- Olive oil for frying

Direction

1. Preheat a large skillet over medium heat with enough olive oil to coat the bottom of the pan.

2. In a large ziplock bag, crush the Flamin’ Hot Cheetos until they are finely ground.

3. In a small bowl, mix together the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

4. In another small bowl, beat the eggs until well combined.

5. Dip each chicken strip into the flour mixture, making sure to coat all sides. Then dip the chicken strip into the beaten eggs, and finally coat it with the crushed Flamin’ Hot Cheetos. Set aside on a plate and repeat with the remaining chicken strips.

6. Carefully place the coated chicken strips into the hot pan and cook for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until the chicken is cooked through and the coating is crispy and golden brown.

7. Once cooked, remove the chicken strips from the pan and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.

8. Serve the Flamin’ Hot Cheetos fried chicken hot with your favorite dipping sauce. Enjoy the crispy, spicy deliciousness!
