Gluten-free tuna pasta bake

Description

Tuck into a comforting bowl of cheesy tuna pasta with spinach and peppers. It's an easy family meal for weeknights and freezes well, too

Ingredient

- 1 (12 oz) package of gluten-free pasta

- 2 cans of tuna, drained

- 1 cup frozen peas

- 1 small onion, diced

- 1 clove of garlic, minced

- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

- 1 tbsp olive oil

- 1 tsp Italian seasoning

- 1 tsp garlic powder

- Salt and pepper, to taste

Direction

Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. Cook the gluten-free pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and minced garlic, and cook for about 2-3 minutes until softened.

4. Add the drained tuna and frozen peas to the skillet, and continue cooking for another 2-3 minutes until the peas are thawed.

5. Season the tuna and peas with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.

6. Pour the cooked pasta into the skillet with the tuna and peas. Mix everything together until well combined.

7. Transfer the pasta mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.

8. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top of the pasta mixture.

9. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

10. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

11. Enjoy your delicious gluten-free tuna pasta bake! You can also top it with additional seasoning or fresh herbs, if desired.
