Ingredient

- 1 sheet of puff pastry

- 6 slices of ham

- 4 eggs

- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

- 1 tablespoon olive oil

- Salt and pepper to taste

- Dried thyme for seasoning

Direction

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

 

2. Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface. Using a rolling pin, gently roll out the pastry sheet to make it slightly thinner.

 

3. Layer the ham slices in the middle of the pastry sheet, leaving about 1 inch of space on the edges.

 

4. Crack the eggs on top of the ham, making sure to space them out evenly.

 

5. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top of the eggs.

 

6. Gently fold the edges of the pastry sheet over the filling, creating a braid-like pattern. Use a fork to press the edges together and seal the filling inside.

 

7. Brush the top of the braid with olive oil and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and dried thyme for seasoning.

 

8. Bake the breakfast braid for 25-30 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and the filling is cooked through.
