recipe Detail

Description

This heart-shaped pizza is a yummy way to show the pizza fans in your life that you love them. Using pre-made pizza dough and a few simple ingredients, it is very easy to make. Most stores, from Aldi to Trader Joe’s to Winco, now carry their own pizza dough.

Ingredient

- 1 cup all-purpose flour

- 1/2 teaspoon salt

- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

- 1/2 cup warm water

- 1 tablespoon olive oil

- 1/2 cup marinara sauce

- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

- Heart-shaped cookie cutter

Direction

1. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, salt, oregano, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined.

2. Slowly pour in the warm water and olive oil, and mix until a dough forms. If the dough is too dry, add a little more water. If it is too wet, add a little more flour.

3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes, until it becomes smooth and elastic.

4. Preheat your oven to 425°F (218°C).

5. Roll out the dough into a large circle, about 1/4 inch thick.

6. Use the heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut out heart shapes from the dough.

7. Place the heart-shaped dough on a greased baking sheet.

8. Spread a layer of marinara sauce over each heart, leaving a small border around the edges.

9. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.

10. Bake the heart-shaped pizzas for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

11. Let the pizzas cool for a few minutes before serving.

12. Optional: If you want to make your pizza extra special, you can use the cookie cutter to cut out heart shapes from toppings like pepperoni, bell peppers, or olives and place them on the pizzas before baking.

13. Serve and enjoy your heart-shaped pizzas with your loved ones!
