This herb marinated turkey tenderloin is perfect for when you have a taste for turkey, but you only want a little. It's healthy and delicious, marinates in just 1 hour, and takes very little time to cook. Serve with a veggie side and a salad, and some lovely, crusty bread.
- 1 lb turkey tenderloin
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon dried thyme
- 1 tablespoon dried rosemary
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- Cooking spray
1. In a small bowl, mix together minced garlic, dried thyme, dried rosemary, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, pepper, and olive oil. This will be the marinade for the turkey tenderloin.
2. Place the turkey tenderloin in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over it. Make sure the tenderloin is evenly coated with the marinade. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or preferably overnight.
3. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
4. Take the marinated turkey tenderloin out of the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for 15 minutes.
5. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and lightly coat it with cooking spray.
6. Place the tenderloin on the prepared baking sheet and pour any remaining marinade over it.
7. Bake the turkey tenderloin for 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) using a meat thermometer.
8. Once cooked, remove the tenderloin from the oven and let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.
9. Serve the tenderloin with your desired side dishes and enjoy your delicious herb marinated turkey tenderloin!
