Honey-Glazed Turkey

Description

Even during the holidays, my husband wouldn't eat turkey—until I tried this recipe. Now he loves it! The sweet and spicy turkey glaze gives the bird a wonderful flavor.

Ingredient

- 1 turkey breast (about 2-3 lbs)

- 1/4 cup honey

- 2 tablespoons olive oil

- 1 teaspoon garlic powder

- 1 teaspoon dried thyme

- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary

- Salt and pepper, to taste

Direction

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

 

2. In a small bowl, mix together the honey, olive oil, garlic powder, thyme, and rosemary to make the glaze.

 

3. Season the turkey breast with salt and pepper on both sides.

 

4. Place the turkey breast in a roasting pan and brush the glaze all over the turkey, making sure to cover it completely.

 

5. Roast the turkey breast in the oven for about 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) when tested with a meat thermometer.

 

6. While the turkey is roasting, baste it every 15 minutes with the remaining glaze.

 

7. Once the turkey is fully cooked, remove it from the oven and let it rest for about 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

 

8. Serve the honey-glazed turkey breast with your choice of side dishes and enjoy!
