Description

Our mini pork pies with hidden quail’s eggs are a party treat and well worth the effort. Hot water crust pastry isn’t too tricky to make and produces a buttery, crisp casing.

Ingredient

- 1 package of Mini Jubilee pork pies

- Olive oil

- Salt and pepper

- Dried thyme

- Dried rosemary

- Dried sage

Direction

1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.

2. Remove the Mini Jubilee pork pies from the packaging and place them on a baking sheet.

3. Drizzle a small amount of olive oil over each pork pie.

4. In a small bowl, mix together a pinch of salt, pepper, dried thyme, rosemary, and sage.

5. Sprinkle the herb mixture over the pork pies, making sure to coat each one evenly.

6. Place the baking sheet with the pork pies in the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the pies are golden brown and heated through.

7. Once done, remove the pork pies from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
