Molten Cinnamon Rolls

recipe Detail

Description

Molten cinnamon rolls are the perfect sweet treat for Sunday brunch.

Ingredient

- 1 can (8 rolls) refrigerated cinnamon rolls

- 1/4 cup olive oil

- 1/4 cup granulated sugar

- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

Direction

1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease a 9-inch baking dish with olive oil.

2. In a small bowl, mix together the granulated sugar, ground cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. This will be your seasoning mixture for the cinnamon rolls.

3. Open the can of refrigerated cinnamon rolls and separate each roll. Use your hands or a rolling pin to slightly flatten each roll.

4. Dip each flattened roll into the olive oil, making sure to coat both sides. Then, dip the rolls into the seasoning mixture, covering both sides.

5. Roll each coated roll into a tight spiral and place them in the greased baking dish. Make sure to leave a little bit of space between each roll.

6. Bake the cinnamon rolls in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until they are golden brown.

7. While the rolls are baking, melt the icing that came with the cinnamon roll package in a small microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 30 seconds and stir until smooth.

8. Once the rolls are done baking, remove them from the oven and let them cool for 5 minutes.

9. Drizzle the melted icing over the warm cinnamon rolls, making sure to cover each roll evenly.

10. Serve the molten cinnamon rolls warm and enjoy! You can also sprinkle additional seasoning mixture on top for extra flavor.
