- 1 sheet puff pastry
- Nutella
- Olive oil
- Salt
- Pepper
- Dried thyme
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Thaw the puff pastry sheet according to package instructions.
3. Once thawed, roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface to an even thickness.
4. Cut the puff pastry sheet into 9 equal squares.
5. Place a dollop of Nutella (around 1 tablespoon) onto the center of each puff pastry square.
6. Lightly brush the edges of the puff pastry squares with olive oil.
7. Fold each puff pastry square in half, making sure to seal the edges by pressing down with a fork.
8. Place the turnovers onto the prepared baking sheet and brush the tops with olive oil. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and dried thyme.
9. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the turnovers are golden brown and puffed up.
