Description

These delicious puff pastries come in a variety of flavors including strawberry diamond, raspberry flower, blueberry pinwheel, and cream cheese filled. Everyone in your house will have a delicious flavor to keep them satisfied!

Ingredient

- 1 sheet of puff pastry

- Olive oil

- Salt

- Pepper

- Garlic powder

- Onion powder

- Italian seasoning

- 1 egg, beaten

- Optional: toppings of your choice (shredded cheese, diced vegetables, diced meats)

Direction

1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius).

 

2. On a clean and floured surface, roll out the puff pastry sheet. Cut the puff pastry into four equal sections.

 

3. Take each section and fold the edges inwards, creating a small border around the pastry.

 

4. Brush the edges with olive oil and sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning.

 

5. Decide on one of the four ways to top your puff pastry:

- Option 1: Tomato and Mozzarella Tart

Place thinly sliced tomatoes and shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the seasoned edges. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with more Italian seasoning.

 

- Option 2: Spinach and Feta Pinwheels

Spread a layer of spinach on top of the seasoned edges. Crumble feta cheese on top of the spinach. Roll up the pastry from one end to the other, creating a pinwheel shape.

 

- Option 3: Ham and Swiss Bites

Place small pieces of ham and shredded Swiss cheese on top of the seasoned edges. Roll up the pastry from one end to the other, creating a pinwheel shape.

 

- Option 4: Caramelized Onion and Goat Cheese Tart

In a pan, heat some olive oil over medium heat and add thinly sliced onions. Cook until they become soft and caramelized. Spread the onions on top of the seasoned edges and crumble goat cheese on top.

 

6. Brush the beaten egg over the toppings and edges of the pastry.

 

7. Place the puff pastry on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

 

8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the toppings are cooked through.

 

9. Once done, remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before slicing into individual portions.
