1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Olive oil
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup salsa
1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add a drizzle of olive oil.
2. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up into small pieces with a spatula.
3. Once the beef is cooked, drain any excess fat from the skillet.
4. Add the diced onion, minced garlic, and diced red bell pepper to the skillet. Cook for about 5 minutes, until the vegetables are softened.
5. Season the beef and vegetable mixture with cumin, chili powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
6. Preheat a separate skillet over medium heat and lightly coat with olive oil.
7. Place one tortilla in the skillet and sprinkle a handful of shredded cheddar cheese on top.
8. Spoon a quarter of the beef mixture onto one half of the tortilla, leaving some space around the edges.
9. Fold the other half of the tortilla over the filling and press down gently with a spatula.
10. Cook for 2-3 minutes, then carefully flip the wrap over and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted and the tortilla is crispy.
11. Repeat with the remaining tortillas and filling.
12. Once all the wraps are cooked, remove them from the skillet and let them cool for a minute.
13. Cut the wraps in half and serve with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, sour cream, and salsa on top.
14. Enjoy your delicious Ronto Wraps made with minimal ingredients!
