Make salade niçoise your go-to salad for summer. With crunchy lettuce, ripe tomatoes, potatoes, tuna and soft-boiled eggs, it's full of flavour and texture
- 1 can of tuna
- 1 can of green beans
- 1 can of artichoke hearts
- 1 can of black olives
- 1 can of cherry tomatoes
- 1 small red onion
- Olive oil
- Salt and pepper
- Dried basil
- Dried oregano
- Dried thyme
Instructions:
1. Drain the cans of tuna, green beans, artichoke hearts, and black olives and set them aside.
2. Slice the cherry tomatoes in half and thinly slice the red onion.
3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cherry tomatoes, red onion, and the drained green beans.
4. Drizzle a generous amount of olive oil over the vegetables and season with a pinch of salt, pepper, dried basil, oregano, and thyme. Toss to evenly coat the vegetables with the seasoning.
5. Add the drained tuna, artichoke hearts, and black olives to the bowl and gently mix everything together.
6. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
7. Serve the salad on a bed of lettuce or arugula for added freshness.
