This easy salsa is a recipe I just throw together, but it is very popular. Serve with tortilla chips.
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup salsa
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt
- Pepper
- Garlic powder
- Onion powder
- Dried oregano
- Dried parsley
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a small bowl, mix together the salsa, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, and dried parsley. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
3. Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish and pour the salsa mixture over them, making sure they are evenly coated.
4. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and place it in the preheated oven.
5. Bake for 25 minutes, then remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the salsa is slightly caramelized.
6. Once done, remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes.
7. Serve the salsa chicken hot with your choice of sides, such as rice, quinoa, or roasted vegetables.
Enjoy your delicious and easy salsa chicken!
