This seafood skillet dip is a dip you won't stop eating. Cream cheese, mixed with light seasoning, fresh shrimp, lump crab, salmon, and Colby-Jack cheese is baked in a skillet and served warm with chips, crackers, or lightly toasted bread.
- 1 can of crab meat
- 1 can of shrimp
- 1/2 cup of cream cheese
- 1/4 cup of mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup of sour cream
- 1/4 cup of diced onions
- 1/4 cup of diced bell peppers
- 1/4 cup of diced tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of dried parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/4 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
- Tortilla chips or crackers for serving
1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
2. Add in diced onions and bell peppers, and cook until they become soft and translucent.
3. Drain the canned crab meat and shrimp, and add them to the skillet. Stir to combine with the vegetables.
4. Add in cream cheese, mayonnaise, and sour cream to the skillet. Stir until everything is well combined and the cream cheese has melted.
5. Season the mixture with garlic powder, dried parsley, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Stir to evenly distribute the seasoning.
6. Let the mixture cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
7. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
8. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese on top of the seafood mixture in the skillet.
9. Place the skillet in the oven and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
10. Once done, remove the skillet from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
11. Serve the seafood skillet dip with tortilla chips or crackers on the side for dipping. Enjoy!
