Sticky Honey Chicken Wings

recipe Detail

Description

This recipe was given to me by a special lady who was like a grandmother to me.

Ingredient

- 1 pound chicken wings

- 1/4 cup honey

- 1 tablespoon olive oil

- 1 teaspoon garlic powder

- 1 teaspoon salt

- 1 teaspoon black pepper

- 1 teaspoon dried thyme

- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary

Direction

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. In a small bowl, mix together the honey, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, thyme, and rosemary.

3. Place the chicken wings in a large mixing bowl and pour the honey mixture over them. Use your hands to evenly coat each wing with the mixture.

4. Place the chicken wings on a lined baking sheet, leaving space between each wing.

5. Bake the chicken wings in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.

6. After 25 minutes, remove the baking sheet from the oven and use a brush to glaze the wings with any remaining honey mixture.

7. Increase the oven temperature to 425°F (220°C) and return the wings to the oven for an additional 10 minutes.

8. Once the wings are cooked through and starting to turn golden brown, remove them from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.

9. Serve the sticky honey chicken wings hot, garnished with additional dried thyme and rosemary, if desired.

Enjoy your delicious and easy-to-make sticky honey chicken wings! You can also serve them with your favorite dipping sauce for an extra burst of flavor.
