Description

Once you know how to make deviled eggs, you will wonder why you have not been making them for every potluck and backyard barbecue. They are so easy!

Ingredient

- 6 hard-boiled eggs

- 1/4 cup mayonnaise

- 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese

- 1/4 cup diced sweet onion

- 2 tablespoons diced pimientos

- 1 tablespoon olive oil

- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder

- Salt and pepper to taste

- Paprika for garnish

Direction

1. Start by boiling the eggs in a pot of water for 10-12 minutes. Once done, drain the hot water and transfer the eggs to a bowl of cold water to cool down.

2. Once the eggs are cooled, carefully peel off the shells and cut each egg in half lengthwise. Remove the yolks and place them in a separate bowl.

3. Mash the egg yolks with a fork and add in the mayonnaise, shredded cheddar cheese, diced sweet onion, and diced pimientos. Mix well until all ingredients are fully combined.

4. Add in the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the mixture. Stir until all the spices are evenly distributed.

5. Spoon the filling into the hollowed-out egg whites, dividing it evenly between the 12 halves.

6. Sprinkle some paprika on top of each egg for added flavor and color.

7. Cover the deviled eggs with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

8. Serve chilled and enjoy your delicious Sweet Onion Pimiento Cheese Deviled Eggs! Optional: Garnish with some fresh herbs or additional diced pimientos for an extra pop of flavor.
