Description

Tuna melts are the ultimate sandwich with a flavorful fish mixture, melty cheddar cheese, and freshly sliced tomatoes all melted together in a skillet on crispy, golden bread. So easy to make and delicious, this sandwich will literally melt in your mouth!

Ingredient

- 1 can of tuna

- 2 slices of bread

- 1/4 cup mayonnaise

- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

- 1/4 cup finely chopped celery

- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion

- 1 teaspoon dried dill

- 1 teaspoon dried parsley

- Salt and pepper, to taste

- Olive oil, for cooking

Direction

1. In a small bowl, mix together the tuna, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, celery, onion, dried dill, dried parsley, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.

 

2. Heat a small amount of olive oil in a pan over medium heat.

 

3. Take one slice of bread and spread the tuna mixture on top, making sure to cover the entire surface.

 

4. Place the second slice of bread on top of the tuna mixture to create a sandwich.

 

5. Place the sandwich in the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the filling is heated through.

 

6. Carefully flip the sandwich over and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.

 

7. Once both sides are golden brown and the filling is hot, remove the sandwich from the pan and place it on a cutting board.

 

8. Using a sharp knife, cut the sandwich in half diagonally.

 

9. Serve hot and enjoy your delicious and easy tuna melt!
