An easy storecupboard supper, that can be out of the oven and on the dinner table in 25 minutes
- 1 can of tuna
- 1 cup of sundried tomatoes
- 1 box of penne pasta
- Olive oil
- Salt
- Pepper
- Dried basil
- Dried oregano
- Dried parsley
- Grated parmesan cheese
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the box, until al dente.
3. While the pasta is cooking, prepare the tuna and sundried tomato mixture. Drain the can of tuna and flake it into a bowl. Chop the sundried tomatoes into small pieces and add them to the tuna.
4. In a pan, heat a tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the tuna and sundried tomato mixture to the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
5. Season the mixture with a pinch of salt, pepper, dried basil, oregano, and parsley. Mix well and let it cook for another minute.
6. Once the pasta is cooked, drain it and add it to the pan with the tuna and sundried tomato mixture. Stir everything together until the pasta is evenly coated.
7. Transfer the pasta mixture to a baking dish and spread it evenly.
8. Sprinkle grated parmesan cheese on top of the pasta.
9. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, until the cheese is melted and golden brown.
10. Let the pasta bake cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your delicious tuna and sundried tomato pasta bake!
