Description

A warming dish perfect for a cosy dinner in front of the fire

Ingredient

- 1 package of pasta (any type)

- 2 cups of shredded cheese (any type)

- 1/4 cup of olive oil

- 1 teaspoon of salt

- 1 teaspoon of black pepper

- 1 teaspoon of dried oregano

- 1 teaspoon of dried basil

- 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese

- 1/4 cup of chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Direction

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.

3. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, salt, black pepper, oregano, and basil.

4. In a baking dish, spread a layer of cooked pasta on the bottom.

5. Drizzle half of the olive oil mixture over the pasta.

6. Sprinkle half of the shredded cheese on top of the pasta.

7. Repeat the layers with the remaining pasta, olive oil mixture, and shredded cheese.

8. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese on top of the pasta.

9. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes.

10. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and golden brown.

11. Once done, take the pasta bake out of the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.

12. Optional: sprinkle chopped fresh parsley on top for added flavor and color.

13. Serve and enjoy your delicious two-cheese pasta bake!
