Description

This ramen is an egg-cellent twist on a classic dish, with savory bacon and perfectly cooked eggs. The broth is a flavor bomb, making every slurp more delicious than the last. It's a quick and easy recipe that will have you coming back for more!

Ingredient

- 1 pack of instant ramen noodles

- 1 tablespoon olive oil

- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

- 1/2 teaspoon dried chili flakes

- 1/4 cup sliced carrots

- 1/4 cup sliced mushrooms

- 1/4 cup frozen peas

- 1 egg

- 2 cups of water

- Salt and pepper to taste

- Optional toppings: sliced green onions, sesame seeds, soy sauce

Direction

1. In a medium sized pot, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Add in the ramen noodles and cook for 3 minutes until they are tender.

 

2. Drain the noodles and set them aside.

 

3. In the same pot, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add in the garlic powder, onion powder, and chili flakes. Stir and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

 

4. Add in the sliced carrots, mushrooms, and frozen peas. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are slightly softened.

 

5. Push the vegetables to the side of the pot and crack in an egg. Scramble the egg until it is fully cooked.

 

6. Stir in the cooked ramen noodles and mix everything together until well combined.

 

7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

 

8. Optional step: For additional flavor, you can add in a splash of soy sauce and mix it in with the noodles.

 

9. Serve the upgraded ramen in a bowl and top it off with sliced green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
