There's just something so fun about eating out of a mug, isn't there? This recipe is savory and mouthwatering and takes around 10 minutes to complete!
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup chopped vegetables (such as bell peppers, spinach, onions, mushrooms)
- 1/4 cup shredded cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper
- Dried spices (such as oregano, basil, or garlic powder)
1. Begin by greasing a microwave-safe mug with olive oil.
2. Crack the egg into the mug and lightly beat it with a fork.
3. Add in the chopped vegetables and mix well with the beaten egg.
4. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper, and a sprinkle of your preferred dried spices.
5. Top the mixture with shredded cheese.
6. Place the mug in the microwave and cook on high for 1 minute. If the egg is not fully cooked, continue to cook in 15-second intervals until the egg is set.
7. Carefully remove the mug from the microwave (it will be hot!) and let it cool for a minute before serving.
