Warm Spinach-Artichoke Dip

recipe Detail

Filled with four kinds of cheese and plenty of tender artichoke hearts, this dip is creamy with a crisp, golden top. Be sure to drain the thawed frozen spinach well to avoid excess water, which can break the cheese sauce.

- 1 cup chopped spinach

- 1 cup chopped artichoke hearts

- 1/2 cup mayonnaise

- 1/2 cup sour cream

- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

- 2 cloves garlic, minced

- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

- 1 tablespoon olive oil

- Salt and pepper, to taste

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. In a pan, heat up the olive oil over medium heat. Add in the minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté for a minute until fragrant.

3. Add in the chopped spinach and artichoke hearts to the pan. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the spinach is wilted and the artichokes are heated through.

4. In a mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sour cream, shredded mozzarella, and grated parmesan cheese. Mix well.

5. Add in the cooked spinach and artichoke mixture to the bowl with the cheese mixture. Mix until well combined.

6. Season the dip with salt and pepper, to taste.

7. Transfer the dip to a small baking dish and spread it out evenly.

8. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, until the dip is hot and bubbly.
